We’re a first-generation regenerative farm focused on raising nutrient-dense food with integrity. Our animals are raised on pasture using rotational grazing practices, and our poultry and pigs are fed certified organic, non-GMO, soy-free feed. We believe you should know where your food comes from, which is why transparency is at the heart of everything we do.

Pasture-raised means our animals live outdoors on pasture with room to move, forage, scratch, root, and express their natural behaviors. We regularly rotate our animals onto fresh ground rather than keeping them confined to the same area. These rotations give the pasture time to recover while allowing the animals to play an active role in building healthier soil.

Regenerative farming is about working with nature to improve the land while raising food. At Wild Texan Farm, we use practices like rotational grazing, moving animals onto fresh pasture, allowing grazed areas time to recover, and using different species in ways that complement one another.

The goal is simple: healthier soil grows healthier pasture, healthier pasture supports healthier animals, and healthier animals help us raise nutrient-dense food for your family.

Wild Texan Farm is not a certified organic farm. Our animals are fed a certified organic, non-GMO, soy-free feed and are raised on pasture using regenerative farming practices. Organic certification can be costly, and we’ve chosen to invest those dollars directly back into our farm while keeping our costs, and ultimately our prices, as reasonable as possible for our customers. We’d rather be transparent about exactly how we raise our animals and what goes into their feed.

Our chickens and pigs are fed certified organic, non-GMO, soy-free feed in addition to what they naturally forage on pasture. We choose certified organic feed because we don’t want glyphosate in our animals’ feed, and our standards go beyond simply avoiding genetically modified ingredients.

Conventional feed may contain genetically modified ingredients and ingredients grown using conventional agricultural practices, including approved synthetic pesticides and herbicides, such as glyphosate.

Non-GMO feed is made without genetically modified ingredients, but non-GMO does not mean organic. The crops can still be grown using many conventional farming practices and inputs, including glyphosate.

Certified organic feed must meet USDA organic standards. That means no genetically engineered ingredients and restrictions on the synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other inputs used to grow the feed ingredients.

At Wild Texan Farm, we choose certified organic, Non-GMO Project Verified feed because we want a higher standard than non-GMO alone. We specifically don't want glyphosate in the feed we give our animals.

Broiler chickens: Organic corn, organic peas, organic sunflower meal, organic fishmeal, calcium, and vitamin and mineral supplements.

Laying hens: Organic corn, organic peas, organic sunflower meal, ground limestone, organic alfalfa meal, calcium, organic fishmeal, oyster shell, and vitamin and mineral supplements.

Pigs: Organic corn, organic peas, organic sunflower meal, organic fishmeal, calcium, organic wheat middlings, and vitamin and mineral supplements.

Our feeds are certified organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, and soy-free.

We never use added hormones or growth promotants. We also don’t use antibiotics unless it's necessary for life saving care. If an animal becomes sick and needs treatment, we believe caring for that animal comes first, so we will treat it appropriately rather than withhold necessary care.

No. We do not vaccinate the animals raised at Wild Texan Farm, including with mRNA vaccines. We focus on good nutrition, clean living conditions, fresh pasture, low-stress handling, and proactive animal husbandry to support healthy animals.

Our animals are processed at USDA inspected processing facilities, where they are professionally butchered, packaged, and frozen. We work with processors who meet our standards for quality and handling so the care we put into raising our animals carries through to the finished product.

Keep your meat frozen until you’re ready to use it. For best results, thaw it in the refrigerator while still sealed in its original packaging. Once thawed, cook within a few days and follow standard food-safety guidelines.

Not yet, but we’re working on it! We plan to begin shipping our farm products throughout Texas in 2027. In the meantime, you can shop with us through farm pickup, farmers markets, or local delivery within 80 miles of our farm.
